This past weekend I wrapped up a special project, donating an embroidery hoop art “fruit basket” to Auction 4 Answers, a tricky-tray style auction benefiting the fight against Huntington’s Disease. Huntington’s Disease is a devastating, hereditary degenerative brain disorder which slowly diminishes the affected individual’s ability to walk, talk and reason, and has no cure at present.
Auction 4 Answers approached me to see if I’d be interested in donating some of my art for the tricky-tray, so I got to work on some of my embroidered fruit. If you’re local to Northern, NJ or Eastern, PA, the Auction will be held on March 3rd in Stewartsville, NJ at Hunter’s Tavern. Come visit for a chance to win an embroidered lemon, lime and orange from Bettina’s Treehouse (valued at $69), plus lots of other lovely arts and crafts. To see the full offering of donations and get more info, visit the Auction 4 Answers Facebook page.

What a terrific project. The fruits are really cool!
Thanks Cindy!
